These are a few of my favorite things.....

Being in the cosmetics industry and "talking" makeup day in and day out, you eventually end up trying just about every product out there. Friends and family come to me every day with questions like, "What can I do for this? Or how can I cover that?" Here is a list of old favorites along with some newbie’s that I can't get enough of. And just in case you're wondering, no, I'm not being paid to endorse these……..much ;)

M.A.C. paint in "Bare"
I don't know about you, but I have just about the oiliest eyelids around. I've tried countless products to keep my eye makeup on and creaseless. But it never fails, after a few hours, the shadow starts to gather up into those pesky little creases. Until now that is. I just smear the "Bare" all over my lid and into my crease. Shadow stays put all day. I promise you.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear gel eyeliner
These come in about 14 different colors. They're so perfect because they glide on easily and, GASP, they actually stay on. Imagine that, eyeliner that stays on. And I even use them in the water lines too. Strong color, no pulling and yanking, and stays on. What more could you ask for?

NARS eyeshadows
Ok, ok, so those of you who know me know that I have enough NARS in my case to open a small kiosk. Perhaps I'm a just little biased BUT that should not, in any way, take away from how wonderful these shadows are. Pigment, pigment, pigment. That's what you get with these shadows. They go on easily, blend well and last for what seems like an eternity. Not to mention they have something like a hundred and fifty colors! Yes, they are a little pricy, but if you consider per use, not really. So check them out and enjoy.

Lastly........
YSL's TOUCHE ÉCLAT
Pronounced [tu-shea e-claw], this brightener is often imitated but never duplicated. For under the eyes, around the lips, and down the nose, this pen not only conceals but reflects light perfectly away from the area to disguise bags & fine lines or to pout out those lips. For the makeupista on a budget, try Smashbox's double ended eye brightener.

Bride’s weekly tip: Sometimes the best solution for your skin comes from within. Of course you're going to look stunning on your wedding day, but don't forget to drink plenty of water and get ample sleep the week prior. This will help you to not only look your best walking down the aisle, but feel your best too!
